TELEVISION

It all started with a simple idea, a pilot presentation, and 10,000 MySpace friends --- and it wasn't long before PROJECT MYWORLD became a hit television show on DirecTV. The half-hour program, which Southern executive produced and starred in, chronicles the global adventures of Taryn and her two girlfriends searching for adventure, romance, and music on MySpace. The show premiered in the fall of 2006 on DirecTV's The 101 and is currently in production for Season 2.

Taryn is also currently the official host for AT&T's new entertainment cable channel, U-VERSE THEATRE. No stranger to red-carpet events, she has also been a leading correspondent at the 2007 GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS for MSNBC, the 2007 KID'S CHOICE AWARDS, the YOUNG HOLLYWOOD AWARDS for SHOWTIME, and many more. In addition, Taryn previously hosted Verizon V-Cast's daily entertainment news and gaming segments and has hosted comedy and sports pilots for Comedy Central, DirecTV, and Comcast.

In 2007, Taryn filmed supporting roles in the comedies DEEP IN THE VALLEY, starring Denise Richards, Scott Caan, Chris MacDonald, and SENIOR SKIP DAY, which stars Clint Howard, Norm MacDonald, Leah Thompson, and Larry Miller, produced by George Gallo (Bad Boys, Wise Guys.)
