Yeah! This was actually my favorite episode to film – even though I got all yucky from the beer…aka…apple juice :) I probably had to dance with the guy in the video 30 times, and we couldn’t stop laughing…

It’s a not ready for primetime send up of Disney’s High School Music franchise, with plenty of illicit language and behavior. The series debuts on Oct. 2 on YouTube, blip.tv, Break, Heavy and MySpaceTV. Redband Industries is producing.

Declare Yourself Party in Hollywood

Last night the cast of Sorority Forever attended the Declare Yourself party at Hollywood’s Green Door Lounge. I got there about an hour late but I was in good late company with Jess and Mikaela (see pics below.)
Even though the hott4hill video I did was over a year ago, I still get excited about going to “pseudo-political” events. This election has definitely been getting under my skin (in a good way) and it seems just about everyone has a strong opinion about it.
In fact, I think I’m going to do another video. I wasn’t going to, but I can’t help it. There’s an idea brewing….and for the sake of getting the word out to more young people to vote (VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!!), I think I may just have to do it.
Anyway, party was fun. They had these little cupcakes from Crumbs that were AMAZING. I love that place. I ate about 5.

Haha – this episode makes me laugh so hard because of what happened during filming….Mikaela (Madison) started laughing when I poured the cottage cheese on her head (apparently she wasn’t expecting the “plop” sound) and so the guys reshot the take. Since I wasn’t there, they had to use someone else’s arm, but apparently it didn’t match up in the final sequence…so the video cuts RIGHT before Mikaela starts laughing…can you see the beginning of a smile?

Description: The most terrifying moment in these girl’s young lives – Weigh In Day.
This was a really tough episode for me to shoot for a few reasons…I want absolutely no part in ever broadcasting the idea that girls should be super thin, and the fact that I don’t make weight in the video is pretty ridiculous since I’m already considered a thin body type. In fact, the whole time we shot this I was more upset with how the underlying message would be perceived than anything else. I cried on every take, mostly because weight is such a sensitive issue for girls and I don’t want anyone feeling bad about themselves after watching this. However, I think the point of the episode, and after talking extensively with the writers, is to demonstrate how ridiculous certain standards are, especially in elitist groups. Almost a satirical look at our culture (yes, we say that being healthy is enough, but our media and certain groups – i.e. models, TV, maybe sororities or other establishments – glorify the super skinny.)
Anyway, I’m interested in hearing what you guys thought so I’m going to check out the MySpace message boards.

We are now at Episode 13, and I thought I would share some thoughts with fans and ask for feedback! You can leave me comments here or on my MySpace page (under my Sorority Forever blog) and if you have questions, I will answer them here. First off, I’m so glad that people are watching the series (it’s tough to get a headcount, since you can find it on thewb.com, myspace, youtube, and other sites) and hope people are enjoying it! I think it took a week or so for people to get into the storyline, since the episodes are so short and almost like “mini scenes.” As SF gets further along, I think people will really enjoy the stories and characters as they unfold.
On another note, all the actors had such a great time filming and we’ve all grown to be great friends. Tonight we’re going to the Declare Yourself party to promote thewb.com, so be sure to check back tomorrow for pics and more info!!
