I just finished shooting BLIMP PROM, a short for Comedy Central’s atom.com, with the super funny Todd Strauss-Schulson, Dan Levy, Angie Cole, Lauren Miller, Jareb Dauplaise, and Craig Frank.

For those of you who can come out for this, it’s a FANTASTIC organization to get involved with and support.
For only $25 you get food, drinks, great people, beautiful park, and most importantly, it benefits Los Angeles youth. I hope to see you there!
ICM announced that I signed with them here: Emmy Rossum, Melissa McCarthy, Hector Luis Bustamante, Taryn Southern
I just shot this video, which played at the Streamy Awards, and was written/produced by my friends, the very talented Fine Bros. Check them out on youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheFineBros! Also look for guest appearances by Jessica Rose, Felicia Day, Dennis Haskins, Amber Lee Ettinger, and more. Enjoy!
Thanks to Tubefilter, Tilzy.tv, and NewTeeVee, the creators of this year’s most acclaimed web series had their first ever awards ceremony. Not only did they do a fabulous job of putting on the show, but it was so much fun seeing all my web pals glammed up for the first time (web and glam don’t usually go hand in hand.)

Cast of Sorority Forever
The auditorium was packed full of people who had all learned to circumvent the Hollywood system by CREATING their own work, taking chances, and doing it all on a budget. And 90% of the time, getting the job done because of the help of friends.

Jessica and I presented Best Male Actor in a Drama

I was forwarded this article from the Ireland Evening Herald about the feature Pound of Flesh, which I just completed in February.
The FIRST annual Streamy Awards, dedicated to honoring achievement in the world of web television, is being held March 28, 2009 at 7:30 PM. You can catch a live broadcast at the www.streamys.org!
I was shocked to receive a nomination for Best Female Actor in a Comedy Web Series, alongside these much more funny women: Felicia Day, Lisa Kudrow, Megan Mullally, and Kirsten Schaal. Sorority Forever also received a nod for Best Dramatic Series and Best Direction (go Big Fantastic!!) and the lovely Jessica Rose for Best Female Actor in a Dramatic Web Series (Sorority Forever.)
Can’t wait!!
I’m so excited to announce that MTV is officially ordering up a TV pilot based on Private High Musical!
Here’s an excerpt from the Hollywood Reporter: MTV’s next target: scripted comedy. The cable network is developing an unprecedented number of scripted half-hour projects, including a parody of Disney’s “High School Musical.” For the rest of the article, please see below.

Thank you SO incredibly much to all the people involved – the cast and crew, you all are such wonderful friends and made this project so much fun. Also, HUGE thanks to 60Frames for making this all possible and the development team at MTV for taking a chance on this project.
I’ll try to keep everyone as updated as possible as we move forward!
I’m super excited to announce that I’ve just signed with a wonderful team at ICM for theatrical and literary representation.
Here’s to a great ’09!
UDPATE: I checked out the comments and I clearly didn’t consider that people who don’t live in Hollywood have no clue what I’m so revved up about. The best way for me to explain “representation” is by comparison – i.e. Ari Gold in Entourage. Except my agents aren’t crazy like him :) For further definition, theatrical agents are in charge of film and/or TV actors, whereas literary agents are in charge of film and/or TV writers. Is that better, Witty Internet Friend Cody?
For the past week, I’ve been working on the set of Pound of Flesh, an indie drama about a charming professor, played by the legendary Malcom McDowell (see above), who oversees a small sex ring amongst his smartest female students. It’s a fascinating story (actually based on real events!) and I play Dyonesia, a senior transfer student who chooses to get involved in the ring to pay her way through college.
I am SO excited about the film and am having such a wonderful time with the cast and crew!
